Recently shown to me by a good friend of mine, the Cocteau Twins have made their way into my life. I hope you enjoy my favorite track from their album “Treasure”. It’s entitled “Pandora”.
Decided to slow down a bit and enjoy Tim Hecker’s “The Work of Art in the Age of Cultural Overproduction” from his album “Haunt me, Haunt me Do It Again”. His sound always takes me somewhere else, reality is too boring.
There’s such a beautiful combination of crunchy glitch and ambient vibes that shows such a heavy contrast in Fennesz’s sound. He takes a guitar and detaches it from it’s cliches to create a sound unheard before.
